ole and Responsibilities This position contributes to the overall logistics planning cycle for a specific product group or category. Provides sales support and supply chain management to the SCM Management team. Activities may include:
Minimizes sales opportunity loss and cost in supply chain by operating strategic supply forecast considering the lead time based on market demand analysis. Improves demand operation level of sales subsidiaries by complying with rules & processes of supply management and maintaining optimal inventory for distribution. Maximizes SCM (Supply Chain Management) operation efficiency by building mid- and long-term resource management strategy through in-advance-discussions regarding mid- and long-term demands. Job Description Market demand analysis Manages market demand analysis for each segment and model group by analyzing factors (economic trend, marketing plan, launch of competitive product, etc.) which influence market. 2. Operation by securing supply quantity of key materials Manages selecting key materials and operating them in the system to stabilize supply for mass production of new models. 3. Demand management of sales subsidiaries Promotes discussion on demand quantity with the related sales subsidiaries and implementation of the guide for strategic decision making of the business unit. 4. Launch of new model and EOP (End of Production) management Manages strategy operating 4 cycles of period (introduction, growth, maturity, and decline) from new model launch to EOP. 5. Optimal inventory operation Manages establishing sale & supply plan for surplus and shortage of inventory to maintain optimal inventory level for distribution in the market and sales subsidiaries. 6. Mid- and long-term resource management planning Promotes establishing Mid- and long-term resource management planning for preparing long term delivery materials and facilities by discussing the demand for mid- and long-term period (4 to 6 months) in advance. Additional Job Description Leads small teams of professionals with limited control over budget spending or HR management such as recruiting or dismissal and supervises mentoring and coaching for team members Typically implements short-term action plans rather than developing policy, process or strategy Enhances or Improves methods or procedures and provides coaching to team members to ensure successful outcome Has expertise in most or all job areas within a job family Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments Skills and Qualifications 12
years of experience in Supply Chain Typically requires a minimum 12 years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree, or 10 years and a Master's degree, or a PhD with 7 years' experience Advanced Excel General knowledge of supply chain operations related to employee's specific area of work, and limited knowledge of overall supply chain operations Ability to communicate effectively with external customers as well as the sales teams and Marketing teams Ability to identify standard problems within the supply chain cycle and makes a recommendation to change either methods or dates; may authorize standard changes to ensure customer satisfaction Works on problems of limited and routine scope where limited analysis of data requires identification of predetermined solutions Exercises judgment within defined practices and policies in selection of methods and techniques for obtaining solutions Proven ability to lead teams of at least three employees Ability to think strategically and build out plans and process improvements Prior management experience required. Prior experience in the consumer electronics industry Prior experience with global brands & technologies
Salary Range:
$250K -- $500K+
Minimum Qualification
Supply Chain & Logistics, Operations ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
