Summary:
The eCommerce Strategic Promotions Project Manager is a key member of client organization leading the planning, tracking, and execution of promotions and cross-category events.
This role will work cross-functionally with category managers, price ops, corporate marketing, and other key stakeholders to ensure flawless execution of our key events on client.
In addition, this individual will help with streamlining processes and working with Engineering to help define and implement new automations to reduce workload and error rates.
The individual hired for this role will need to be highly detail-oriented, self-motivated, able to navigate ambiguity, and take initiative to deliver results.
Must be able to work with speed and accuracy in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Key Responsibilities Lead promotion planning and execution by tracking, monitoring and coordinating all of the relevant teams and activities needed for execution teams to implement desired result.
Develop work-back plans for key promotional events and ensure teams adhere to established timelines and due dates.
Schedule and lead daily calls with the cross-functional teams to review in-flight and upcoming promotions to ensure appropriate execution.
Serve as a key member of the xLOB IMT and represent client in the decision making, utilizing data to support recommendations.
Identify ways to streamline and improve the process and work with engineering and related teams to implement solutions.
Support other activities and programs as needed by leadership.
Background/
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree with 8
years of directly related experience is required.
At least 2 years of experience in an eCommerce organization in project management, merchandising, or marketing role.
Can manage and track multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment, driving clear actions and accountability across teams.
Experience using JIRA and Confluence to manage projects and cross-functional teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organization, and time management.
Detail oriented and analytical; can evaluate, synthesize, and clearly present complex information.
A collaborative, team-oriented individual who can work with professionals of any level.
