NJ Customer Service Position-Call Center Environment

Ridgefield Park-Call Center Customer Service Rep
We are a fast paced, financial firm looking to staff high level representatives within our communications center. Morning and evening positions are available- Monday-Friday. This is an hourly position. Training is mandatory. Applicants must be extremely professional and need to be able to thrive in a fast paced, high call volume environment. This position requires excellent communications skills and reading skills as well as the ability to adherence to company policies and procedures while maintaining high levels of customer service. Successful representatives must be willing to adapt to an exciting and evolving industry by continuing to learn about new projects and procedures.

Position: Customer Service Agent/Representative

Location: Ridgefield Park, NJ

Our facility is conveniently located near several major highways- route 80, turnpike, route 46, garden state. We are easily accessible by public transportation.

General Qualifications:

Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills required
Previous customer service experience a plus (preferably in a call center environment but not required)
Must be able to work in a structured, fast-paced, and time critical environment.
Experience with Microsoft Office Applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Availability to work Monday-Friday

Communication Skills:

Speak fluently, clearly and ability to deliver verbal communications in a professional manner
Must possess ability to accurately summarize information. Candidates must be able to effectively follow scripts, rebuttals and proprietary procedures.
Must have above average skills with regard to typing accuracy and speed (average of 30 words per minute preferable)
Must possess ability to interact with colleagues and members of all areas of support in a courteous and professional fashion
Must have proficient reading skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
