Business Planning Manager: Mobile Computing - New Jersey

Position Summary
Role and Responsibilities

As a Business Planning Manager, you will be responsible for:
+ Developing, negotiating, coordinating, and communicating business plans between Samsung Electronics America (SEA) counterparts. You will develop product business plans, coordinate product manufacturing and modifications to ensure timely development and delivery of products
+ Thorough data analytics, identifying success of promotions and sales programs, and suggesting recalibration to improve outcomes
+ Analyzing weekly Purchase Sales Inventory (PSI) to identify sales target status, ensuring fulfillment of delivery to achieve sales plans, product development, and new launches. May coordinate and manage PSI numbers to avoid bad product loss and to manage product availability
+ Functioning as the focal point to improve communications between headquarters and corresponding SEA team members. May communicate daily between headquarters and SEA organization on production allocation, delivery requirements, and inventory management
+ Preparing program budgets, project plans, management, progress, expenditure, and other related reports to identify performance and successful achievement of objectives or variances
+ Initiating, developing, coordinating, and implementing strategic product launch plans
+ Providing sales with daily / weekly updates of product delivery schedules from headquarters and against customer product delivery commitments. Reviewing and identifying variances in weekly PSI Global product deliveries, as compared to outstanding sales orders and forecasts, in order to plan for future product availability and inventory
+ Coordinating and handling the escalation of critical product availability, launch issues, and sales demands with manufacturing leadership
+ Solving moderately complex technical problems and responds to non-standard requests from internal and external customers.
+ Making decisions within guidelines and policies
Requirements:
+ Bachelor's Degree with 8-12 years of directly related experience is required
+ Prior experience in the wireless telecommunications industry in a position managing one or more of product development, logistics, distribution, and long-term business planning
+ Data Analytics/Strong Excel
+ Experience researching and resolving customer product development, launch, delivery, and logistics issues
+ Experience developing presentations
Nice to Have:
+ Experience with data modeling or analysis tools e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, SPSS or similar
+ Experience developing KPI and executive dashboards
Work is generally performed in an office environment. Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal between 50% - 95% of work time, including prolonged periods of time. Requires considerable (90%+) work utilizing high visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, and moderate hand/finger dexterity. The movement and transportation of equipment, most of the time is under 25 pounds. Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines. Machines, tools, equipment, and work aids include printers, copiers, faxes, and other equipment commonly associated with an office work area. May require working additional hours beyond normal schedule. Travel varies depending on position. Consistently demonstrates a commitment to policies and procedures, including but not limited to, attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical responsibilities.
Necessary Skills / Attributes
Develop and maintain excellent proactive and reactive working relationships with all levels within and outside the company. Plan, organize, and prioritize multiple complex assignments, product launches, and projects. Read and interpret detailed and complex engineering product development and marketing documents, media materials, and contracts (or related documents) based on corporate legal and marketing standards and philosophy. Demonstrated exemplary performance in both oral and written communication modes for both internal and external personnel at all levels, especially in the engineering, sales, and marketing areas of clients, prospects, and within SEA. Provide guidance, direction, training, and coaching of less experienced team members in order to achieve personal and team goals and complete assignments within established time frames. Interact with all levels within the organization and has frequent external contacts.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
