Technical Project Manager

Samsung SDS is the primary IT services and enterprise software provider for the Samsung Group and has been contributing to the Group's global growth for over 30 years. The company provides enterprise software and professional services serving the Samsung Group, Retail industries, Financial Services, and the Public Sector in North America. The Technical Project Manager will support solution sales executives with prospective accounts. He or she will work as a technical account manager along with the sales team. We are looking for a seasoned, hardworking, smart and over achieving Sales Engineer with proven experience and a passion for selling technology solutions to senior executives while meeting expectations of engineers from the customer side. The role requires 80% pre-sales and 20% of pilot project delivery engagement. Position Summary: The Technical Project Manager will provide hands-on setup of solutions for demo and proof of concept projects including content management such as Samsung Nexshop, MagicINFO, behavior sensing such as camera based analytics, remote management, etc. The ideal candidate has API level understanding for integration and additional development for projects. Responsibilities: Support sales executives with solution selling into prospective accounts Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare and execute deals in sales cycles Successfully match customer requirements to proposed solutions while identifying gaps between SDS solution vs. customer needs . Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the value proposition Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses. Ability to define solution components to solve the problem and scope of work for proposal and contract. Effectively communicate clients' needs to local product manager and HQ product team for enhancements. Collect and document competitive intelligence. Create standard demo and presentation of solution proposal using best practices. Requirements: Proven work experience as a Technical Project Manager/Sales Engineer Proven track record selling complex enterprise solutions Bachelor's Degree or higher required Working knowledge of hardware such as displays, cameras, networks and sensors is required since our target solutions work with Samsung products such as displays, tablets, etc., and with other products such as cameras and media players. Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives Ability to collaborate with customer and various stake holders, including sales executives, local product manager, HQ product team, key partners. Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in simple terms Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies Excellent written and verbal communication skills Willingness to travel up to 30%. Confident, assertive, great attitude, strong organizational skills, and a self-starter Experience with content management software for digital signage as a sales engineer, proof-of-concept level development capability is a plus. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
