Marketing / Merchandising Senior Manager

Position Summary We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager for our flagship office in Ridgefield Park, NJ. You will be responsible for design, production, implementation, and maintenance of in store merchandising across Samsung's retail network. Your goal is to help drive brand preference, conversion/sell through at point of sale that is aligned with overall Marketing Communications initiatives. Your role will include developing, planning, production, and coordinating internal and external resources for full execution of Point of Sales (POS). This newly created role will require interface with both internal and external stakeholders. It will leverage your skills to collaborate, influence, and drive accountability for all involved. Retail strategy planning Drive the mid and long term retail strategy by understanding the market flow and retailer and competitor trends. 2. Cooperative retail methodology development Follow the cooperative retail methodology depending on each retailer store's operation standards and present the methodology to related business organizations(regional offices and subsidiaries). Common Essentials/Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for the overall effectiveness of the Project Management function for SEA product lines Develop and manage project definition and direction in conjunction with the business owners and other related departments Independently develop and manage project budgets, charters and timelines and attain signoff from all key stakeholders Communicates daily with internal and external key stakeholders: from product marketing, sales account and counter parts in overseas headquarters Communicates with retail partners, various design, production and logistic vendors Responsible for presenting to vendors / customers/ leadership on project objectives Verify with cross-functional management the resources needed to meet project objectives. Maintain constant communication between various project work streams leaders and address issues as they arise Anticipate potential high risk project steps and heighten awareness of the project status Provide routine status updates to the project team and management  Ad hoc projects and analysis, as requested. Responsible for routine or standard technical problems and responds to standard requests from internal and external customers Makes decisions within guidelines and policies  Accountable for the contributions of the project sub-team. Responsible for driving deliverables in current projects and various ad hoc projects assigned Serves as a key leader for the business in driving projectactivity and managing expectations with key stakeholders Background/Experience Bachelor's Degree with 12-15 years of directly related experience is required; Advanced degree in business, operations or similar field with 6-9 years of experience preferred Expert on manufacturing process and production materials Highly Technical with background in consumer electronics/AV products Vendor management experience required Highly proficient project management skills Ability to clearly communicate with multiple levels of the organization required Proficient in MS Office products including Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Travel will be required (20-25%)-domestic US Skills and Qualifications Necessary Skills and Attributes Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all assigned levels with the customer and within and outside the company. Plan, organize, and prioritize multiple complex assignments and projects. Read and interpret detailed and complex customer requirements. Demonstrated competency in both oral and written communication modes for both internal and external personnel at various levels, especially in the sales and marketing, logistical, or financial areas of clients, prospects, and SEA. Work independently and in a team environment in order to achieve personal and team goals and complete assignments within established time frames. Demonstrated excellence in time management skills and follow up to ensure meeting on time deliverables. The ability to accept tasks and problems/situations that differ and require creativity to search for solutions among learned consequences. Only broad and general guidelines exist for solving problems. The ability to utilize implied knowledge of task alternatives and to make spontaneous decisions using past experience and the guidance of successful experiences of others. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
