Supply Chain Forecasting Manager

Position Summary This is a key supply chain position which will be part of a team that interfaces directly with a large retailers. Key areas of experience is CPFR/order & sales Forecasting, Inventory & Order Management. Item Setup process, On time delivery and reporting. This position is responsible for establishing processes, KPIs, forecasting & planning for key appliance categories. This position will work closely with the retailer's inventory and order planning team and will communicate directly with our company's sales, marketing, and logistics team. o Develop processes and protocol to achieve customer objectives related: CPFR/Forecasting, Special Order, Vendor Compliance, Item/Data Management, Order Management o Lead CPFR/Forecasting planning process with customer planning team to drive optimal levels of inventory to support mutual goals associated with Inventory and in-stock metrics o Act as primary interface with customers' senior SCM, Operations and Merchandising Management to drive collaborative process improvements Role and Responsibilities o Review Sales Forecasts for accountso Analyze sell through data and compare against previous forecasts - investigate out-of-stocks o Resolve exceptions in forecast with accountso Review and communicate commitments to accountso Input promotion data into Syncra for forecast and promotions managerso Assist with initial rollout and expansiono For accounts with collaborative replenishment:- Monitor account inventory position and forecasts- Create orders for account- Track orders from creation to deliveryo Assist with Supply Chain Projects Skills and Qualifications CPFR experience Experience or exposure working for or with large retailers Consumer and/or home appliance experience preferred Significant Planning/forecasting experience in manufacturing /logistics environment. Relevant demand planning software exposure and knowledge of statistical modeling. 5-7+ years equivalent work experience Strong background in high volume, time sensitive environment. Common sense, strong organizational skills. Familiarity with SAP APICS certification desirable Set realistic work goals and priorities. Taking the initiative as problems and opportunities arise. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
