Sr. Manager, OE & Learning Strategy

Our L&D team is structured as a Center of Excellence, leading and partnering with various parts of the business at subsidiary, regional and global levels. Through our Global HR Innovation initiative, we are instilling new people policies, HR systems (Workday) and HR operating models, and need strong, experienced leaders with a collaborative spirit to support the culture changes. This position will be a key member of the learning and development management team, reporting into the Head of L&D at Samsung Electronics America (SEA). S/He will support the business in a consultative fashion, identifying specific learning solutions. S/He will work closely with the People Team, including HR Business Partners, Talent Management, and other members of the L&D teams to identify, curate and craft learning solutions to address specific business divisional needs, leveraging existing resources and integrating with any external vendor solutions. Critical to leading this function is a relationship-based but skilled program and change management mindset, the ability to scale design and development through an insource and outsource model, and leverage Samsung technology to drive innovative learning solutions. This will require strong influencing and partnering capabilities across a matrixed organization, as well as a thorough understanding of all the L&D offerings we have available. Role and Responsibilities Partner closely with HR Business Partners and Talent Management Partners in a consultative manner to identify learning solutions to specific business requests and needs - leveraging existing solutions and creating customized approaches as needed Provide specific team-based organizational effectiveness (OE) solutions, including new manager assimilations, team building experiences, addressing ad-hoc requests from the business Drive global functional competencies - embedding within the organization and integrating into existing programs Drive global L&D program participation based on knowledge of the business, and articulating L&D offerings Manage and mentor a team of two learning strategists Partner effectively with major stakeholders to achieve objectives Actively drive and contribute to the department's overarching strategy as part of the L&D management team Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field with minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in learning and development programs and facilitating organizational effectiveness solutions, internally consulting or advising from a thought leadership perspective 3-5 years of experience in developing and managing high performing teams Creativity and resourcefulness, with a proven background in learning strategy and implementation The agility to work in a fast-paced, multi-dynamic organization with shifting priorities and timelines; Comfort with ambiguity and change and managing multiple stakeholders The presence and skill of working across different stakeholder groups, including executive audiences Polished interpersonal skills, including strong and succinct verbal and written communication skills A collaborative approach with strong results orientation A strategic program manager - able to help define strategy and also be well-versed and immersed in the details as needed Strong affiliations and experience working with top external vendors and benchmarking organizations Plus: Experience with Workday and learning management systems          Experience in professional development assessments and tools          Experience in career paths and coaching/mentoring Highly Preferred: Advanced degree in adult learning, organizational psychology, or related field Professional certifications (Coaching, Hogan, Strengthsfinder, MBTI, DISC, etc). The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
