Sr. Manager, Leadership, Core & Professional Programs

Our L&D team is structured as a Center of Excellence, leading and partnering with various parts of the business at subsidiary, regional and global levels. Through our Global HR Innovation initiative, we are instilling new people policies, HR systems (Workday) and HR operating models, and need strong, experienced leaders with a collaborative spirit to support the culture changes. This position will be a key member of the learning and development management team, reporting into the Head of L&D at Samsung Electronics America (SEA). S/He will help build out and lead the Leadership Development Solutions vertical, responsible for managing the leadership development strategy and design/build/execution for all levels of leadership at Samsung Electronics America, in collaboration with major stakeholders, and in alignment with our regional and global leadership strategy and programs. The new leader will focus on integrating our new global leadership competencies and tools into our existing programs, and re-evaluating and aligning our programs to create a sustainable learning curriculum (programs and experiences) to develop our leadership pipeline. S/He will work closely with the People Team, including HR Business Partners, Talent Management, Learning Strategists and Content Development teams to identify, curate and craft solutions, leveraging internal resources and integrating with any external vendor solutions to provide meaningful leadership development experiences. In addition to the primary objectives above, this position will be, in the interim, responsible for our Core and Professional Development programs. These programs are associated with employee onboarding/transitions, professional development, workplace training and will also include the internal facilitation/delivery team (contract and full time) at Samsung Electronics America. The interim period is to be determined and the goal is to identify and groom/coach an internal talent to fully own this vertical of L&D as the programs expand. Critical to leading this function is a relationship-based but skilled program and change management mindset, the ability to scale design and development through an insource and outsource model, and leverage Samsung technology to drive innovative learning solutions. This will require strong influencing and partnering capabilities across a matrixed organization. Role and Responsibilities Providing thought leadership in management and leadership development Building and continuously evolving the SEA Enterprise Leadership Development Strategy based on business needs: Design/Align, Leverage/Build, Execute and continuously Evaluate and refine leadership development solutions, integrating internal and external resources as needed Lead program management for all Front-line, Mid-level and Executive Leadership Programs Lead/Co-lead sponsorship, coaching and mentoring programs Develop a strategy and culture of leaders as teachers Manage and mentor a team of 3 direct reports (manager level) and indirectly manage/mentor other junior members of the broader team as needed; team members will be located in different locations and will also include contractors Partner effectively with major stakeholders to achieve objectives Actively drive and contribute to the department's overarching strategy as part of the L&D management team Act as interim lead for the core and professional development vertical Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field with minimum of 8-10 years of experience in managing leadership development programs at all levels 5+ years of strong people management experience leading and developing a high performing virtual team Creativity and resourcefulness, with a proven background in designing and delivering innovative leadership learning programs and experiences The agility to work in a fast-paced, multi-dynamic organization with shifting priorities and timelines; Comfort with ambiguity and change The presence and skill of working across different stakeholder groups, including executive and global audiences Polished interpersonal skills, including strong and succinct verbal and written communication A collaborative approach with strong results orientation A strategic program manager - able to help define strategy and also be well-versed and immersed in the details as needed; Strong affiliations and experienceworking with top external vendors and benchmarking organizations, as well as major assessment tools (Hogan, MBTI, etc.) Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects smoothly Preferred: Advanced degree in adult learning, organizational psychology Plus: Experience with Workday and learning management systems, experience in global fast-paced organizations/industries.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
